Virtua Medical Group, a physician led organization of over 1,700 clinicians and growing is looking to add a Breast Surgeon to our well-established breast surgery team.
This is a full-time, employed position with the health system located near Philadelphia with easy access to the New Jersey Shore, New York City, and Washington DC.
The Breast surgeons and advance practice providers maintain a 100% breast practice and treat both benign and malignant breast diseases. They continue to specialize in the latest surgical techniques and use the latest surgical equipment available on the market.
Qualified candidates should be fellowship trained and should be board certified or eligible.
About Our Breast Program:
- Integrated within the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Cancer Program, offering access to a leading academic-affiliated oncology network
- NAPBC-accredited program supported by a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team including radiology, pathology, plastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology
- Comprehensive, patient-centered care model with close collaboration among nurse navigators, genetic counselors, research coordinators, social workers, rehabilitation services (OT/PT), and home care teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Shared breast surgery call with a two-week rotation among a team of dedicated breast surgeons
- Strong clinical support structure including two advanced practice providers, a nurse coordinator, and a dedicated surgical schedulerWell-established and robust referral network supporting consistent case volume and program growth
Compensation:
In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all physician roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $400,000.00 per year. Final compensation for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
