Position Summary:

Northeast Hospital Corporation (Beverly, Addison Gilbert, and BayRidge Hospitals) seeks a strategic and operationally focused Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting to the President, the COO provides executive leadership for hospital operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The COO partners with clinical and administrative leaders to execute strategic priorities, drive operational performance, enhance the patient experience, develop high-performing teams, and support the continued growth and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations across Beverly, Addison Gilbert, and BayRidge Hospitals.
• Drive operational excellence, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Partner with physician, nursing, and administrative leaders to achieve strategic and organizational goals.
• Lead large-scale operational improvement and growth initiatives.
• Foster workforce engagement, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across Beth Israel Lahey Health to advance system-wide priorities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field; clinical background preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of healthcare leadership experience, including 5+ years in an executive role within a multi-hospital health system.
• Prior COO experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience in hospital operations, service line growth, program development, and physician partnerships.
  
  

Pay Range:

$265,000.00 USD - $300,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for additional compensation, which may include performance-based incentive bonuses.
