IU Health is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse-Wound Ostomy to support our Enterostomal Therapy Department at Methodist Hospital. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, no call, no weekends, no holidays! If you are a Registered Nurse looking for the next step in your career, apply today!
The Clinical Nurse-Wound Ostomy provides direction and coordination for a specific patient population with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems. Primary area of expertise is in the wound, ostomy and continence management. Also serves as a consultant to the health care team in area of expertise.
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires current certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (CWOCN) within 1 year of becoming eligible for certification.
