Radiation Oncology Centers of Nevada (ROCNV), part of OptumCare, is the reestablishment of a premier practice in Clark County. The practice previously operated as Radiation Oncology Centers of Las Vegas, with its parent company Associated Radiation Oncologists established in 1995.
Our radiation oncologists are leading the way for quality radiation treatments in Las Vegas by offering innovation in treatment delivery options. We continue to staff well-qualified, caring professionals who develop excellent relationships with patients, referring physicians, and insurers. It is because of the respect that we have for our patients that we strive for no less than our absolute best in all we do. Quality care and innovative treatments are not simply catch phrases, but integral parts of who we are and what we do on a daily basis.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Routine weekly chart check
- Perform photon and electron dose calculations, along with secondhand dose calculations with RADCAL/MUCheck
- Assist with simulations
- Perform patient specific QA using portal dosimetry, mapcheck, and point dose measurements
- Identify and contour normal structures by utilizing images including CT/PET and MRI registration and segmentation
- Works independently, but in collaboration

Required Qualifications:
- Must be Board Eligible for certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) and a graduate from an accredited dosimetry program
- CMD Certification or scheduled for CMD certification exam within 6 months
- Varian (Eclipse) experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Dosimetry experience
- Experience with VMAT, IMRT, SBRT and SRT/SRS
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,800 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
