Job Description

The President is responsible for the overall executive leadership, strategic growth, operational performance, and financial health of Northeast Hospital Corporation. This leader will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing operational excellence, fiscal stewardship, and strategic priorities. Working closely with Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) leadership, the President will strengthen system integration, foster community partnerships, support philanthropic growth, and preserve the organization's collaborative, patient-focused culture. The President will serve as a visible leader within the hospital and community, driving quality, performance improvement, and long-term organizational success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Provide executive leadership for hospital operations, strategic planning, and financial performance.
• Lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, board members, community stakeholders, and BILH leadership to advance organizational goals.
• Drive performance improvement, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, patient experience, and productivity.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, accreditation, licensing, and readiness activities.
• Collaborate with the CFO on operational and capital budgeting, financial performance, and resource management.
• Partner with physician and clinical leadership to optimize patient care, quality, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Lead facilities planning, space utilization, and capital improvement projects.
• Advance system integration initiatives, strategic partnerships, and innovation across BILH.
• Serve as a visible leader within the hospital and community, strengthening stakeholder relationships and supporting philanthropic growth.
• Champion technology and operational innovations that enhance clinical, administrative, and financial performance.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive hospital operations leadership experience, preferably within a large integrated health system.
• Demonstrated success leading in complex, matrixed organizations and improving organizational performance.
• Experience with strategic planning, operational transformation, change management, and performance improvement.
• Facilities and construction oversight experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen, communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Pay Range:

$500,000.00 USD - $585,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for additional compensation, which may include performance-based incentive bonuses.
