Job Summary

Manage the implementation of marketing plans, develop annual budgets, evaluate market trends, manage product communication/promotion activation and reporting to achieve business objectives for assignated therapeutic pharma products.

General Responsibilities

• Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
• Develop, manage and evaluate implementation of marketing plans for products and services to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies
• Establish annual marketing budget to align to clients' needs and marketing plans. Monitor marketing expenditures and highlight budget-to-actual variances
• Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, etc. to identify market opportunities. Adjust marketing plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions
• Manage promotion activation and allocate resources to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotion activities
• Manage product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services
• Prepare marketing reports/updates/analysis for management presentation and decision-making
• Contribute to business planning with internal/external stakeholders (e.g. sales) in budgeting, marketing plans development, etc. to align to business priorities. Advise stakeholders on market sentiments
• Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies (e.g. event organizers, advertising agencies, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the ethical pharma business and industry
• Demonstrate sound knowledge in the company's products/services and application of marketing principles/practices
• Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills in certain therapeutic focus either oncology, respiratory, neurology or women's and men's health
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Education

• Degree or professional qualification in Science, Pharmacutical, Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline
• Master's in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration will be an added advantage
