FCS is currently expanding our team of radiation oncologists in our outpatient clinics throughout Florida. Our Villages and Sarasota Cancer Center in Florida are hiring a Radiation Oncologist to join their team!
Our cancer center in The Villages, FL, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible radiation oncologist to join their established clinic. Our multidisciplinary team of radiation oncology, medical oncology, and hematology physicians provides comprehensive care for patients with early and advanced cancers, blood disorders, leukemias, and lymphomas, utilizing personalized, evidence-based therapies supported by innovative clinical research. Located just west of Orlando in Sumter County, often referred to as “The Real Florida”, The Villages offers an exceptional quality of life, featuring an active lifestyle with championship golf courses, pickleball and tennis courts, scenic walking and biking trails, lakes, and nature preserves, as well as vibrant town squares with dining, shopping, and nightly live entertainment. With warm weather year-round, a strong sense of community, and convenient access to Orlando’s international airport, attractions, and both Florida coasts, this opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a rewarding practice in a highly desirable location.
Our cancer center in Sarasota, FL, is seeking an experienced, board-certified radiation oncologist to join their established radiation oncology group in anticipation of a new comprehensive cancer center opening in mid2026. The center will feature a fully integrated, multidisciplinary model including medical oncology, hematology, radiology, surgical oncology, and radiation oncology. FCS partners with Sarasota Memorial Hospital and the Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute, part of a 901bed regional medical center and one of the largest public health systems in Florida. Sarasota, located on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, offers an exceptional lifestyle with world famous white sand beaches, outstanding dining, arts and culture, and abundant outdoor and water recreation.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- State of the art radiation therapy technology, including the Varian True-Beam linear accelerator, to support advanced, high precision care.
- ARIA and Eclipse software
- Support staff including Medical Physicists and Dosimetrists
- Radiation therapist- 2-3 per linac, registered nurses, and clerical support
- Centrally managed leadership

REQUIREMENTS
- Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
- Board-certified/eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Extensive knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques
- 2-5 years of experience required for Sarasota position
- Open to residents for The Villages position
