Description
HDT Bio Corp. seeks a qualified Senior Research Associate in Seattle, WA to conduct and manage research to further HDT’s programmatic development in support of human health, specifically oncology vaccines and therapeutics leading to Investigational New Drug (IND) filings of potential new products for testing in clinical investigations. With responsibility for managing an assigned focus area, the Senior Research Associate will perform the following duties: independently design and conduct new experiments; lead cross-functional collaboration; develop new laboratory protocols; analyze and interpret data; supervise junior Research Associates and delegate experiments; and maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebook and documentation.
The Senior Research Associate position requires a Master’s degree in Immunology, Cellular Biology, Microbial Biology, or Molecular Biology, and 4 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries including the following laboratory experience, which may be gained concurrently:
- Culturing tissue of mammalian tumor cell lines, human primary cells, and mouse primary cells (4 years in each);
- Independently conducting immunological assays using ELISA, ELISpot, and Flow Cytometry (4 years in each);
- Conducting clinical trial tumor cytotoxicity assays and multiplex cytokine arrays (1 year in each); and
- Training junior staff across various teams in immunological assays and good laboratory practices (GLP) (1 year)
In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Cellular Biology, Microbial Biology, or Molecular Biology, and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries including the following laboratory experience which may be gained concurrently:
- Culturing tissue of mammalian tumor cell lines, human primary cells, and mouse primary cells (6 years in each);
- Independently conducting immunological assays using ELISA, ELISpot, and Flow Cytometry (6 years in each);
- Conducting clinical trial tumor cytotoxicity assays and multiplex cytokine arrays (1 year each); and
- Training junior staff across various teams in immunological assays and good laboratory practices (GLP) (1 year)
Position based at HDT Bio Corp. at 1150 Eastlake Avenue East, Suite 200A, Seattle, WA 98109. Salary range is $97,850 to $115,000 per year.
