Growing together.The Specialty Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Other key duties include processing prior authorizations, assisting with financial aid, updating clinical data, and supporting administrative tasks. The liaison collaborates closely with the CPS Patient Care Services team and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Schedule: This full-time, non-exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm and additionally as needed.
About the Facility: Ozarks Healthcare is a Joint Commission accredited, 114-bed acute care hospital and not-for-profit medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county area in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas. Services include family medicine, specialty clinics, rehabilitation, home care, interventional cardiac care, open-heart surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and cancer treatment.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active applicable state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTCB/CPhT
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
