Do you consider yourself a soft tissue surgeon at heart but assumed opportunities to sub-specialize only existed in academic settings? This is your chance to focus your skills in a collaborative, specialty-driven environment designed to support high-quality surgical care.

We are seeking a Soft Tissue Surgeon to join our growing team in Ellicott City, Maryland. This new clinical service is being developed alongside the established 11-year referral base of Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Pet Hospital partner practice that shares the facility.

The surgical service will focus primarily on planned, scheduled soft tissue procedures, allowing you to concentrate on elective case management, precision, and excellent patient outcomes. In addition to your surgical caseload, you will provide diagnostic and procedural support for Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Emergency/Critical Care services, working within a highly collaborative, multi-specialty environment.

This opportunity is well suited for residency-trained veterinarians, including new graduates, as well as board-certified or board-eligible surgeons who are interested in practicing advanced soft tissue surgery with the support of modern infrastructure and a strong referral network. Surgeons with an interest in minimally invasive techniques will find an especially strong fit in this role.

State-of-the-Art Facility: Our new 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology to support the highest level of patient care. The hospital features a 160-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, arthroscopic and endoscopic equipment, digital radiography, dedicated procedure and ultrasound suites, and a fully equipped intensive care unit with Snyder O2 cages. Additional resources include separate GI and respiratory isolation areas and two underwater treadmills, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation capabilities.
