Position Responsibilities:
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
Perform breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies
Interpret breast MRI and perform MRI-guided breast biopsies
Serve as the lead interpreting physician for breast imaging services, with responsibility for oversight of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation of the mammography facility
Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board conferences in collaboration with surgical, medical, and radiation oncology colleagues
Support the implementation and growth of advanced breast imaging services, including contrast-enhanced mammography
Collaborate with clinical and administrative partners to support program growth and operational excellence
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
MD or equivalent
Board certified or board eligible Radiologist
Eligible for licensure in the State of North Carolina
MQSA certification
Experience with breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI-guided
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent clinical experience
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
Interest or experience in clinical program development in a community-based setting
