Certified Medical Dosimetrist

A well-established and growing Radiation Oncology practice in Chicago is seeking a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD or CMD-eligible) to join our collaborative team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment where patient care and precision are top priorities.

Pay:

Responsibilities:

Contour normal tissues and dose-limiting structures using CT, MRI, and PET scans
Perform image registration across multiple data sets
Design treatment plans using Varian Eclipse, optimizing dose delivery while sparing critical structures
Calculate and document radiation doses accurately; verify all calculations per protocol
Maintain complete and accurate patient records
Support billing documentation in accordance with clinic policies
Participate in ongoing education, research, and quality improvement projects
Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in daily workflow

Requirements

Qualifications:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or eligible
Experience with Varian Eclipse and ARIA (preferred)
1+ year of clinical dosimetry experience (preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
AAMD Certification (preferred)
