City of Hope | Thoracic Surgery Opportunities | Phoenix, AZ & Atlanta, GA
City of Hope is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Thoracic Surgeons with advanced fellowship training to join our expanding cancer programs in Phoenix, Arizona and Atlanta, Georgia. These full-time positions offer collaborative, patientcentered environments supported by experienced multidisciplinary teams dedicated to excellence in cancer care.
Atlanta Role Overview
- The position entails 4 to 4 ½ days of clinical work (clinic and OR)
- Ability to establish an expanding referral base in thoracic surgery in the growing region. Opportunity to create and grow your practice while having the support of a top 10 cancer system in the US.
- 50 bed cancer hospital with new operating rooms and robotic surgery technology (Davinci 5 & ION/CIOS).
- Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with an established multidisciplinary team of physicians, APP’s, and nurses. Experienced Interventional Pulmonologist and Thoracic Medical Oncologist on staff.
- Successful candidates must possess excellent surgical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- City of Hope faculty appointment. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

Phoenix Role Overview

- Opportunity to engage in clinical and translational research while collaborating with cutting-edge faculty at TGen, City of Hope’s genomics research center in downtown Phoenix. Qualified faculty may be eligible for joint appointments, and candidates with funded research programs are strongly encouraged to apply and contribute to the broader City of Hope-TGen research enterprise.

Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Fellowship training in Thoracic Surgery
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery & Thoracic Surgery
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Arizona or Georgia, depending on site
