ADULT HEMATOLOGISTS/ONCOLOGISTS
Openings in Northern & Central California
- Fresno: Seeking a BC/BE hematologist/oncologist to join our team in Fresno. Join a practice that is supported by oncology nurse navigators and nurse practitioners. Utilize a practice style that allows for flexibility through virtual and in person care. Find autonomy in managing your own patient panel yet find physician support across the Northern California region by joining The Permanente Medical Group.
- Modesto/Stockton: Seeking a physician who is BE/BC in both Hematology and Oncology to join our extraordinary team. Support from oncology nurse navigators and pharmacists. Participation in specialty case conference, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and clinical trials. NAPBC and COC accredited. Eligible for a forgivable loan. Central Valley has affordable real estate and less traffic. We are driving distance to Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Bay. Opportunity to work some days from home.
- Oakland: We are seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist with a strong background in medical oncology and hematology. This is a general oncology position with a clinical focus on lung and head and neck cancers. Nurse Practitioners provide dedicated support to the practice, and classical and malignant hematology are managed by a separate outpatient service within the department. Our program offers opportunities for clinical research, including available funding, as well as teaching of residents and fellows in a supportive and collaborative academic environment. We are committed to delivering excellent patient-centered care while fostering professional growth through research and education. The practice utilizes a hybrid clinical schedule that includes virtual care, and physicians are supported by nurse case managers and medical assistants to optimize patient care and workflow.
- Roseville/Sacramento: Seeking a physician who is BC/BE in Hematology and Oncology. Focus on either solid tumor and some hematology. Opportunities to participate in and be part of a sub-specialty regional hematology group, clinical trial enrollment (SWOG, ECOG, NRG, NCI), teaching, and Commission on Cancer Accredited team who focuses on state-of-the-art personalized cancer care.
- Santa Clara: Seeking a physician who is BC/BE in Hematology and Oncology. Prefer someone with special interest in thoracic and head & neck oncology and will participate in some hematology. Opportunity to work some days from home.
- Vallejo: Seeking a physician who is BC/BE in Hematology and Oncology. Prefers someone with special interest in hematology. Opportunity to work some days from home.

REGIONAL PEDIATRIC NEURO-ONCOLOGY PHYSICIAN
Full-Time Opening in Oakland, California
We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Neuro-oncologist to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team based in Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center to function as a regional pediatric neuro-oncologist with our partners in Roseville, CA and Santa Clara, CA. The physician will join an established team with supportive staff and pediatric hematology/oncology colleagues. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care, including chemotherapy and targeted therapies for patients with CNS tumors and predisposing conditions such as neurofibromatosis Type 1 and 2, attending pediatric neuro-oncology tumor board, interpreting molecular profiling and genetic mutation data to guide individualized therapy, monitoring the progress and overseeing the care of brain tumor patients regionally, and providing direct care in Oakland and virtual care in the two partnering sites. Interested parties should possess excellent interpersonal communication and teaching skills, be comfortable enrolling patients on clinical trials, and collaborate well with a multi-disciplinary team including pediatric neuro-surgery, pediatric hematology/oncology, pathology, radiology, radiation oncology, and pediatric subspecialty colleagues. We are a fully integrated program and an active COG recruiting site.
