Description
Position Overview
Join a growing, comprehensive cancer program within a respected health system. This opportunity is driven by increasing patient demand, program expansion, and upcoming physician retirement-creating strong long-term stability and immediate need.
Practice Details
- Established team of 10 Oncologists + 9 Advanced Practice Providers
- Full-service, integrated cancer program with multiple practice sites
- 4 days clinical + 1 administrative day
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Patient volume:
- ~15-20 patients/day (physician-supported model)
- 60-minute new visits, 15-minute follow-ups
- Dedicated support:
- 1 APP + 1 nurse per physician
- Nurse navigators (concierge-style care model)
- Dedicated infusion center with private rooms & chairs
- Epic EMR + AI-assisted dictation/scribe tools
Clinical Program Highlights
- Comprehensive oncology services including:
- Clinical trials (academic affiliation)
- Genetic counseling & testing
- Nutrition + psychosocial oncology support
- Financial counseling & patient assistance programs
- Robust multidisciplinary care:
- Tumor boards
- Oncology pharmacy onsite
- Dedicated research nurses
- Unique patient-centered resources:
- Oncology-focused salon services
- Retreat programs for patients and families
- Community-funded support initiatives (~$1.5M annually)
Call Structure
- 1:5 call (moving to 1:6)
- APPs take first call (Mon-Thurs)
- Mostly phone-based; minimal disruption
- Inpatient support with dedicated PA
- Adjusted clinic schedule during call weeks
Compensation & Benefits
- $700,000+ earning potential (RVU-based)
- $50,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $220,000 in student loan assistance
- Relocation assistance
- 33 days PTO (with rollover)
- CME: $4,000 + 40 hours annually

Requirements
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Subspecialty interests welcomed (Breast or GI Oncology preferred)
