Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dynamic Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease (ID) physician to join our established team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to deliver premier infectious disease care and shape patient outcomes at a leading academic medical center. Our doctors provide vital expertise in diagnosing when treating infections, especially when hard to diagnose, or complicated by multi drug resistance or recurrent. We also provide dedicated screening and care for STI including HIV, AIDS.

- Educate & Mentor: Teach Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students, including an Academic Appointment to the HMH School of Medicine
- Lead & Innovate: Pursue leadership roles in antimicrobial stewardship and infection control, with an opportunity for investigator-initiated clinical research and adult clinical trials.
- Collaborate: Work seamlessly with robust Adult Subspecialty Services-Cardiology, Oncology, Pulmonology, Surgical subspecialties such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and OB GYN.

Qualifications
- Education: M.D. or D.O. degree, plus successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Infectious Disease
- Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- Licensure: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey, along with valid DEA and CDS.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with patients, families, and professional personnel. BMT training/experience is a plus.
