Interventional Radiologist – Northern California Private Practice
Advanced Radiology and Interventional Associates (ARIA) is seeking Interventional Radiologists to join one of the most clinically focused IR private practices in Northern California. ARIA is a physician-led IR/DR group with over 40 radiologists, serving multiple hospitals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley.
This is a unique opportunity to join an IR-forward group, and practice true clinical Interventional Radiology with the autonomy, case complexity, and practice environment typically found only in major academic centers.
Practice Opportunities
- Perform full spectrum of IR procedures including interventional oncology, advanced embolization, vascular, hepatobiliary, pain, and GI interventions
- Our Interventional Oncology program is among the busiest community-based practices on the West Coast, with dedicated HCC tumor board and great multidisciplinary collaboration. We perform more than 140 radioembolizations and 60 cryoablations annually
- Robust vascular and VTE practice with dedicated PERT, and comprehensive outpatient vascular center in the Central Valley (owned and operated by the group)
- Participate in the continued growth of a rapidly expanding IR-focused practice, with multiple leadership opportunities within the group
- Ability to perform up to 80–100% IR if desired, or mixed IR/DR practice as well
Clinical Support
- Eight full-time Advanced Practice Providers supporting our clinically oriented IR practice
- Full-time PACS team and clerical support staff available 24/7
Practice Locations
- San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley
- We are expanding our Interventional Radiology team and are seeking two board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Radiologists, with one position based in our Bay Area Division and one position based in our Central Valley Division.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $550,000–$600,000+ depending on experience and location
- Additional productivity-based bonus structure, and profit sharing partnership

Work-Life Balance
- More than 9 weeks of annual time off
- IR call approximately 1:4–1:5, limited to single-hospital coverage
