Opportunity Overview
Ascension Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Vascular and Interventional Radiologist to join our premier, physician-led clinical IR practice at Ascension St. Vincent Flagship Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. This is a rare, 100% Interventional Radiology position with zero diagnostic radiology responsibilities. We operate a full-service, modern clinical IR practice delivering cutting-edge, minimally invasive care across inpatient and outpatient settings through a robust consultation service and a thriving outpatient clinic model.
Practice Highlights & Clinical Scope
Established, Dynamic Team: Join a collaborative group of 4 interventionalists (3 IRs and 1 Vascular Surgeon) and an amazing team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Robust APP Support: APPs handle rounding, clinic, non-vascular procedures (thoras, paras, biopsies, drains), and simple vascular procedures—allowing you to practice at the top of your license.
100% VIR
Schedule:
3 days/week in the Vascular Lab (complex vascular interventions)
1–2 days/week in a dedicated IR CT & US dual-suite (non-vascular procedures & APP supervision)
At least 0.5 days/week dedicated to Outpatient Clinic
Extensive Clinical Diversity:
Comprehensive PE & DVT service line for Ascension’s flagship hospital
Robust Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI) service line in close partnership with Podiatry
Strong collaborative ties with Urology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Peripheral Thoracic, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Balanced Call Structure:
1:5 Primary Call schedule
1:20 Back-up Call for our Vascular Surgery partner (for non-vascular IR cases)

Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certification: BC/BE in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ABR/AOCR)
Licensure: Eligible for or currently possessing an unrestricted Indiana Medical License
