Clinical scope: Perform high-impact reconstructive and free-tissue transfer procedures for complex oncologic reconstruction in collaboration with breast, head and neck, and oncology teams.
Referral strength: A broad referral base, including community physicians and Lee Health’s regional network, supports steady complex-case volume and program growth.
Program contribution: Work in a collaborative cancer care environment to expand access to advanced microsurgical reconstruction for patients throughout Southwest Florida.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency and a microvascular reconstruction fellowship, with demonstrated expertise in free-tissue transfer. Board certification or eligibility in plastic surgery is required.
The ideal candidate brings advanced microsurgical skills, sound clinical judgment, collaborative instincts, and an interest in helping to grow a high-impact regional reconstruction program.
Experience in multidisciplinary cancer care, particularly collaboration with breast, head and neck, and oncology teams, will be highly valued.
