Opportunity Overview
Dignity Health Medical Group – Bakersfield is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its growing cancer care program. This is an opportunity to help expand a comprehensive oncology network while collaborating with experienced specialists in Hematology/Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology.
Role Highlights
- Deliver comprehensive medical oncology care, from diagnosis and treatment planning through ongoing management.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans.
- Support clinical best practices and the continued growth of integrated cancer care services.
- Play an active role in shaping cancer care within a supportive, expanding clinical network.
Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology.
- Active California medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $650k to $900k for the first two years, followed by transition to a productivity-based model.
- Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
