Job Title: Open Rank, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA)
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is recruiting for an open rank, CFA, radiation oncology faculty position with an anticipated start date of September 2026. This position will be appointed and credentialed through the Gynecologic Section in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT MD Anderson.
The successful applicant will assist in the development and enhancement of the department's ability to provide clinical expertise in the multidisciplinary care of patients and other symptoms associated with their radiation treatment. The successful applicant will develop a robust clinical/translational research program that advances the therapeutic paradigm. Faculty are also expected to participate in the teaching of faculty, fellows and residents. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a cutting-edge clinical environment, engage in clinical and/or laboratory research and teach.
Requirements
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years post MD degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited radiation oncology residency program
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate-level degree in a field appropriate to faculty role or department mission
- Licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Texas
- Board Certified (or obtained within departmental timeline)
- Two years’ experience as an Instructor or 5 years post degree
