Specialized one-year fellowship training in oral oncology at Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute (Miami, FL).
Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute is accepting applications for its one-year, full-time Oral Oncology Fellowship Program for dentists seeking advanced training in the oral healthcare needs of patients with cancer.
Fellows receive hands-on experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of oral diseases and complications affecting oncology patients. Training includes clinical care in oral medicine and oral oncology, inpatient consults, oncology rotations, seminars, conferences and scholarly activity.
Applications are accepted through August 31, 2026. Interviews will take place through mid-September, with candidate match/acceptance notification expected late September. The program is expected to begin in November/December 2026.

Requirements
Eligibility Prerequisites:
- Candidates must hold a DMD, DDS, or an equivalent degree.
- Applicants from non-English speaking countries must submit an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report.
- Applicants must be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Florida.

- Written personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation
- CV/Resume
- TOEFL Score (for applicants from non-English Speaking countries). TOEFL scores from a test taken within the past two years. The TOEFL exam can only be waived if the dental degree was obtained in the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, or the United Kingdom. The minimum acceptable overall score is 95.
