RADIATION ONCOLOGIST in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA: The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) is recruiting for a full-time shareholder-track Radiation Oncologist to join our San Francisco Bay Area - Dublin Radiation Oncology Center (ROC) in the 2nd half of 2027. The individual will join a Dublin staff of 6 full-time radiation oncologists, who are closely integrated with a larger regional group of 39 TPMG radiation oncologists based throughout Northern California. The individual will be expected to treat all sites/subsites using all modern techniques of external beam radiation, cranial SRS, body SBRT, and simple intracavitary HDR brachytherapy.
The Dublin ROC is in Dublin, CA, and the ROC is part of a 450,000 square ft 3-story multi-specialty medical office building which opened in May 2019. It has 4 linac vaults and a dedicated HDR suite. The center is equipped with 2 beam-matched Varian TrueBeam linacs (with VisionRT), 2 beam-matched Varian TrueBeam STX linacs (both with HD-MLC, 6-DOF couches, and 1 with ExacTrac), and a Siemens Confidence wide bore CT Simulator. The department is also equipped with a HDR Afterloader (Varian Bravos), Varian Brachyvision, Eclipse TPS with HyperArc for intracranial SRS, Aria R&V, and MIM for image fusion/deformation/contouring. The department is currently staffed with 7 radiation oncologists, including 2 brachytherapy subspecialists (who offer complex interstitial brachytherapy), 2 physician assistants, 5 on-site physicists, 5 dosimetrists, 2.5 RNs, 6 LVNs, 15 RTTs, 1 Dietitian, 1 Social Worker, and an IT/Systems Administrator.
The Dublin ROC is one of the 3 main centers for SRS/SBRT Kaiser Permanente (KP) patients in Northern California. The Dublin ROC is also one of the three main centers for HDR Brachytherapy. The Dublin ROC is the 6th KP ROC to open in Northern California, and the 2nd KP ROC to offer complex interstitial HDR brachytherapy. Our centers are all APEx accredited.
In 2025, the Dublin ROC treated 1500 fractionated EBRT courses, 300 SRS/SBRT courses, and 180 HDR brachytherapy courses.
START DATE is anticipated to be in 2nd Half of 2027 – between Mid-June– Fall of 2027.

Requirements
1) Experience in treating patients in all disease subsites with complex SRS/SBRT, IMRT/IGRT/VMAT/3DCRT, and simple (intracavitary) HDR brachytherapy.
2) Board Eligibility to apply, but Board Certification is required to remain in the group.
3) California medical license is required prior to start of employment.
4) California RHB X-Ray Supervisor and Operator certificate is preferred prior to start of employment.
5) US Residents only
6) Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a group oriented integrated medical system are essential.
7) A desire to live in Northern CA in proximity to cultural activities, ethnic diversity, and the tremendous outdoors activities of the Bay Area.
