Radiation Oncologist – Full-Time, Partnership-Track
Napa Valley Radiation Oncology – Napa, California
Napa Valley Radiation Oncology (NVRO) is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our independent, physician-owned practice on a partnership track. Based in Napa, California, NVRO primarily serves Queen of the Valley Medical Center and provides comprehensive radiation oncology care to patients across Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Lake counties.
About the Practice:
Our radiation oncology department is accredited by the American College of Radiology, and our cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, with representation at multiple tumor boards. We serve a diverse population of patients and routinely treat breast, GI, GU, skin, head and neck, thoracic, CNS, and palliative cases. We have all the capabilities of a modern radiation oncology practice, including full-time physics and dosimetry coverage, two linear accelerators with HD MLC, 6-DOF couch, SRS and SBRT capability, and active molecular diagnostics, radiopharmaceuticals, and clinical trials programs.
We encourage our partners and colleagues to participate in local, regional, and national committees, and we strive to maintain an ethical, high-quality practice that also values work-life balance. With an additional partner, we envision further growth for our practice, with the potential to expand into brachytherapy, functional radiation medicine, and new technologies.
About the Community:
Napa, California, offers an exceptional quality of life with a blend of small-town charm and city amenities. Known for its renowned wine country, vibrant arts scene, and abundant outdoor recreation, Napa provides an outstanding environment for both personal and professional fulfillment.
Ideal Candidate:
NVRO is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist who is comfortable managing a broad case mix. The ideal candidate is drawn to community oncology but wants to deliver sophisticated, evidence-based care. We are particularly interested in candidates who would like to take an active role in practice management and help guide the growth of the practice alongside our partners. NVRO is an equal opportunity employer.
