Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Interventional Radiology

Join a growing Interventional Radiology team and practice at the top of your license in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This role supports interventional radiologists across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings, offering hands-on experience with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Our program is rapidly expanding, including the recent addition of neuro thrombectomy and a broader range of neuro interventions performed within IR.
What You’ll Do
- Provide procedural support (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, drain placement, central line/PICC, vascular access)
- Assist with advanced IR cases including fluoroscopy-guided procedures, embolization, dialysis access, and interventional oncology
- Perform patient assessments, consults, follow-ups, and education
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
- Document care and follow clinical protocols
Qualifications
- NP: Virginia license; MSN/DNP; ANCC (preferred) or AANP; BLS & ACLS\
- PA: Virginia license; NCCPA certification; BLS & ACLS
- Experience in acute care, ICU, surgery, cardiology, or procedural settings preferred
- IR experience is a plus, but new grads or those with strong procedural interest are encouraged to apply
