Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for an Internal Medicine Specialist located in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Internal Medicine Specialist will be responsible for managing and treating patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. Daily tasks will include performing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, coordinating with other veterinary specialists, and providing guidance to veterinary nurses and support staff. We currently have three Internal Medicine Specialists and looking to grow our team to collaborate and share the responsibilities where your life balance and well being are prioritized. Our additional services include Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, and Oncology.
We welcome candidates with specialized areas of interest (endocrinology, cardiology, digestive health, etc.) and support clinical growth and skill advancement.
Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree or equivalent
- A collaborative approach to working with other clinicians and patient-care teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Endoscopy and Ultrasound preferred
- Competent in creating and implement customized diagnostic and treatment plans
- Ability to multitask and manage hospitalized patients
- A commitment to providing compassionate care to pets and their owners

Salary:
$250,000 base + bonus + benefits including relocation allowance, health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
