Surgical Oncology Position
University of Michigan Health – Sparrow
Lansing, Michigan
University of Michigan-Sparrow is seeking a full-time, dynamic BE/BC Surgical Oncologist to join our practice in Lansing, Michigan. Fellowship training in surgical oncology required. UMH-Sparrow is committed to improving access to medical care across the Mid-Michigan region.
- Busy group practice with equitable call, about 1:6
- Cases will include digestive esophageal, pancreatic, liver, gastric, sarcomas and melanomas
- Involved in cancer center multidisciplinary clinics, tumor board and oncology protocols
- Integral part of Herbert-Herman Cancer Center and general surgery residency program with active participation in residency education
- Herbert-Herman Cancer Center is QOPI certified and accredited with Commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC)
- Practice provides majority of general surgery care for UMH-Sparrow
- Located in the heart of the Great Lakes
