Description

Most specialty services are provided within participating veterinary practices. For more information, check our website: www.sinewvet.com
The position is classified as a part-time, hourly, non-exempt W-2 employee. The role will initially focus on administrative and clinical coordination responsibilities and may expand as Sinew Veterinary’s caseload and practice relationships develop. Initial responsibilities may include appointment coordination, communication with clients and referring veterinary practices, obtaining and organizing medical records, scheduling, practice management system support, and other administrative activities related to Sinew Veterinary operations. As the position develops, responsibilities may also include mobile veterinary technician duties such as patient restraint and positioning; preparation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; procedural assistance; IV catheter placement; assistance with sedation induction; physiologic monitoring during sedation; recovery and post-sedation monitoring; and administration of reversal agents or other medications when directed by the supervising veterinarian and permitted by applicable law. Additional duties may include equipment and supply preparation, aseptic preparation, cleanup and restocking, assistance with musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures, assistance with orthopedic or rehabilitation-related treatments, and other veterinary technician duties performed within the scope of your credentials and under appropriate veterinary supervision.
Start Date: The anticipated start date will be October 26th, 2026, or another mutually agreed date following completion of required employment onboarding. This offer is contingent upon completion of required employment verification and payroll documentation and, for clinical duties, maintenance of an active Colorado veterinary technician registration in good standing.
Compensation: The regular rate of pay will be $30.00 per hour, paid through Sinew Veterinary’s payroll system and subject to applicable payroll withholding. This is a variable-hours position. No minimum number of daily or weekly hours is guaranteed. Hours will vary based on Sinew Veterinary’s administrative needs, caseload, mobile schedule, practice activities, and your availability. All compensable work time must be accurately recorded. As a non-exempt employee, you will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal and Colorado wage-and-hour laws.
Travel: On clinical days, the usual arrangement will be for you to report to a designated meeting location and travel with Sinew Veterinary to assigned clinical locations.
Benefits: This part-time position does not currently include employer-sponsored health insurance, retirement benefits, paid vacation, continuing-education benefits, or other discretionary employee benefits. You will receive paid sick leave and any other benefits or protections required by applicable federal or Colorado law.
Scheduling: Your schedule may vary from week to week. Work hours and assignments will be scheduled by mutual agreement based on Sinew Veterinary’s needs and your availability. Administrative work may be performed remotely when appropriate. Clinical assignments may occur at veterinary practices within Sinew Veterinary’s service area and at other mutually agreed clinical locations.
Because no minimum hours are guaranteed, you may maintain other employment, provided it does not interfere with accepted Sinew Veterinary assignments or create a direct conflict with your responsibilities to Sinew Veterinary. Schedules will be coordinated in advance whenever reasonably possible. Please communicate promptly if an accepted assignment must change.

You are responsible for maintaining any registration or credential required for assigned veterinary technician duties and promptly notifying Sinew Veterinary of any change in its status.
Physical Requirements: Clinical duties may require extended periods of standing and walking, as well as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and positioning or restraining animal patients. The role also requires the manual dexterity needed to perform routine veterinary technician tasks and handle clinical equipment and supplies.
